Nrep Logicenters, the largest owner and developer of modern logistics properties in the Nordic region, acquires a new build 20,500 sqm property in Jönköping, a key logistics location in the middle of Sweden
Nrep Logicenters has acquired a new build 20,500 sqm logistics property in Stigamo, Jönköping, from Reach Fastigheter. The tenant is AD Bildelar and the property will be used as their central warehouse location serving all of Sweden.
“After outgrowing our old facilities in Varberg we looked at several geographical locations, sites, and development partners. We are convinced that we made the right choice in Jönköping with this property built by Reach Fastigheter,” comments Jörgen Edentoft, Warehouse manager, AD Sverige AB.
The property was developed in 2017 and is located in the new expansive Stigamo area south of Torsvik. The property has excellent visibility towards the E4 highway and is situated adjacent to Babyshop’s newly developed central warehouse.
”We are very happy to further strengthen our partnership with Reach Fastigheter and to continue developing high quality logistics facilities in Jönköping. The acquisition is a great addition to our logistics portfolio and combines modern specifications with strong cash-flows from a 15-year lease with AD Sverige AB,” comments Hampus Brodin, Investment Manager at Nrep Logicenters.
“With this transaction, Nrep Logicenters continues to prove the benefit of a consistent market presence and a wide local network, enabling us to source transactions. We now strengthen our presence further in Jönköping which is an important logistics location in the middle of Sweden,” comments Matthias Kettelhoit, Commercial Head of Nrep Logicenters.
Stefan Alvarsson of Reach Fastigheter comments: “Reach, in collaboration with project manager Qvana Invest, developed this 20,500 sqm property in close cooperation with AD Bildelar and Nrep. We are very pleased with the final product, the efficient process, and our continuing business relation with Nrep Logicenters, who we are confident will be a strong partner to AD Bildelar in their future growth.”
The property was acquired by Nrep Nordic Strategies Fund II, which mainly focuses on logistics, residential and retail properties in the Nordic region and is backed by a number of international blue chip institutional investors. The fund made its first investments in the spring of 2016 and has an investment capacity of more than EUR 1.5 billion.
